Johnson City, TN — Allied Dispatch Solutions will significantly expand its operations in the region, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam’s office announced this afternoon.
The company is locating in Johnson City and Carter County with a plan to hire nearly 500 workers.
Company CEO Anthony Royer said in a news conference Thursday afternoon, “Mostly what can are going to bring to play is the culture. It’s about the people who care about other people. When we care about people and we when when we have our employees on the phone they are a representation of for all of us – this community. “– Allied Dispatch
This downtown Johnson City building will be the home of Allied Dispatch Solutions’ new headquarters.
By next year, more than 400 jobs will be added at the Carter County facility now under expansion on 500 Borla Drive in Johnson City.
“Our goal is to have over 800 new jobs. It’s exciting when we realize when we look at the employee base here that we can do something different for the community,” said Royer, CEO.
Downtown Johnson City will become Allied Dispatch Solutions corporate headquarters. The building will house 75 employees including its executive staff.
“This will be a change for the downtown area in having permanent positions that are working, eating and shopping here,” said Royer, CEO.
“Allied Dispatch Solutions would not be here had it not been for the power of the community. We also would not be here had it not been for leaders and the entire team,” said Royer.
Allied Dispatch Solutions will have a hiring event this Friday, October 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
According to a flyer, Allied Dispatch personnel will be on hand taking applications for customer service positions.
