The C-TEC Postsecondary Center is thrilled to introduce an exciting and innovative program, the Automation & Electrical Controls pathway, set to kick off its inaugural session this March. This cutting-edge program has been meticulously crafted to address the burgeoning demand in central Ohio’s industrial landscape. C-TEC, always at the forefront of workforce development, aims to further solidify its position as a leading advocate and provider of skilled professionals in the region.
The Automation & Electrical Controls pathway is designed to equip participants with essential skills through a comprehensive curriculum encompassing Industrial Electrical Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Industrial Networks, and Robotics. The program distinguishes itself by offering a blend of hands-on training and theoretical instruction, all conducted within our state-of-the-art labs. This approach ensures that students not only grasp the theoretical underpinnings but also gain practical experience, preparing them for real-world challenges in the field.
Responding to the evolving needs of industries in central Ohio, C-TEC planned and implemented this program. C-TEC envisions a collaborative effort with industry stakeholders to create a dynamic learning environment that aligns with the current and future requirements of the workforce.
Commencing on March 11th, 2024, the first course in this pathway sets the stage for a transformative educational journey. It’s worth noting that most modules within the pathway can be pursued independently, allowing flexibility for participants to tailor their learning experience according to their specific needs and interests.
