~ SIAA recognizes service industry advertising excellence ~
TexAmericas Center, which owns and operates one of the largest mixed-use industrial parks in the United States, announced today it has received national recognition by the Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) for two different marketing initiatives.
The organization received the SIAA gold award in the direct mail category for its Aspire 2022 annual newsletter collateral. The six-panel mailer told the story of TexAmericas Center through graphics, photos, a visual timeline, testimonials, and a message from Executive Director and CEO Scott Norton. The storytelling leveraged TexAmericas Center’s commitment to the region’s legacy and its future while also showcasing itself as a leader in worldwide economic development.
A second gold award was given to TexAmericas Center in the miscellaneous collateral and special promotion category for a community profile to promote the potential for a green energy data center development on the organization’s property. The eight-page profile used data, graphics, maps, and text to illustrate the organizations and Texarkana’s attributes, as well as Texas’ business-friendly environment.
“We’re proud to talk about our story and our potential, which is exactly what these pieces do. Being recognized for telling those stories well is icing on the cake,” said Norton. “These awards represent creativity, quality, and execution, which happen to be hallmarks of our organization.”
SIAA are the only ad awards that specifically recognize the advertising excellence done by organizations in the service industry.
More than 1,200 entries were submitted this year. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in eight groups and 45 categories.
TexAmericas Center partners with the integrated marketing and communications firm Chartwell Agency, which assisted in the content development and design of each awarded piece.
“TexAmericas Center has an expectation of excellence in all they do – whether that’s helping a company grow and expand, to telling its own story so precisely through marketing efforts. The talented team at TexAmericas Center knows no bounds, and we’re honored to be part of their creative process,” said Rebecca Epperson, Founder and CEO of Chartwell Agency.
