Corpus, Christi, TX — On March 3, 2017 at the Port Readiness Committee Meeting, U.S. Army LTC Brad Bane, presented recognition to Port Corpus Christi COO/Deputy Executive Director, Sean Strawbridge, for Port Corpus Christi’s support during recent Military Out-Load operations. The U.S. Army 842nd Transportation Battalion loaded and deployed over 1600 pieces of equipment including a fleet of Apache Helicopters via Port Corpus Christi.

Port Corpus Christi is a designated Strategic U.S. Military Port, and has facilitated numerous operations in support of our military for deployments and returns. The port received its strategic designation in December of 1997.
