Defense technology company to bring more than 100 new jobs and $8.5 million investment to Central Texas
CEDAR PARK, Texas (June 24, 2026) — The City of Cedar Park announced that Aeon Industrial, a rapidly emerging defense technology company specializing in advanced tactical weapon systems and autonomous targeting software, will relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Cedar Park, Texas.
The company will become the first tenant at Holt Lunsford Commercial’s Cedar Tech I development, represented by Austin-based Live Oak.
Aeon Industrial develops next-generation, vertically integrated defense systems designed for rapid deployment, scalability and battlefield effectiveness. Its technologies include modular weapon platforms and autonomous targeting systems built to support modern warfighter needs.

The relocation is expected to bring more than 100 new jobs and $8.5 million in investment to Cedar Park.

Aeon’s relocation also supports the long-term vision of the Central Texas Spaceport Development Corporation, which is advancing the development of a next-generation space and defense innovation campus in the region.
The addition of advanced manufacturing and defense systems capabilities in Cedar Park strengthens the regional ecosystem needed to support future space, defense and aerospace operations.
The project also aligns with Cedar Park’s Plug and Play | Tech Center partnership, which is launching a new Aerospace & Defense vertical accelerator program this fall.
