DriveMod Tugger brings autonomous material handling to food processors and agricultural packers
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2025) — Cyngn (Nasdaq: CYN), a developer of autonomous vehicle technology for industrial operations, today announced a new partnership with Chandler Automation that expands Cyngn’s footprint into the agriculture and food processing sectors. As part of the agreement, Chandler Automation has joined Cyngn’s dealer network and will begin offering the autonomous DriveMod Tugger to food processors and packers nationwide.
The partnership enables agricultural producers to automate high-frequency, repetitive material transport between processing lines, inspection stations, packaging systems, and palletizing operations—areas that often remain manual despite significant investments in automation elsewhere on the plant floor.
Chandler Automation is a full-service factory automation partner specializing in optical sorting, inspection systems, robotic palletizing, and custom processing machinery. The company is widely recognized for delivering tailored, high-performance automation solutions that help food processors reduce labor dependency, increase throughput, and maintain consistent product quality.
“Chandler Automation is deeply embedded in the food processing ecosystem and trusted by agricultural producers across the country,” said Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn. “As food processors continue modernizing their operations, autonomous material movement between production stages is a critical next step. This partnership extends DriveMod into a new industry vertical where uptime, efficiency, and safety are paramount.”
Under the agreement, Chandler Automation will integrate Cyngn’s DriveMod Tugger into continuous-flow production environments, allowing customers to automate material transport without costly infrastructure changes or operational disruption. The partnership builds on Cyngn’s growing momentum deploying DriveMod solutions across multiple industrial sectors.
“Many food processors have upgraded inspection and packaging systems but still rely on manual transport between stations,” said Sean Chandler, CEO of Chandler Automation. “Cyngn’s autonomous vehicle technology fits seamlessly into the production environments our customers are building, helping them eliminate bottlenecks while improving safety and consistency.”
The DriveMod Tugger is designed to haul loads of up to 12,000 pounds, operate both indoors and outdoors, and deliver a typical customer payback period of less than two years—making it well suited for demanding agricultural and food processing operations.
