~ Roofing, wall and lining manufacturer will expand Nashville operations ~
Nashville, TN — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Firestone Building Products officials announced today that the company will expand operations in Nashville.
The project represents the creation of 28 new jobs and a $13 million investment in Davidson County.
Headquartered in Nashville with operations worldwide, Firestone Building Products was recently acquired by Holcim Participations (US) Inc., a global leader in sustainable building solutions. The company decided to maintain headquarters operations in Nashville and retain more than 200 employees in addition to the expansion.
Firestone Building Products is a leading manufacturer and supplier of roofing and building envelope solutions. By taking the entire building envelope into consideration, Firestone Building Products manufactures and meets project needs for roofing, wall and lining solutions.
Over the last five years, TNECD has supported 68 economic development projects in Davidson County, resulting in more than 27,000 job commitments and approximately $3.4 billion in capital investment.
