JD Sports and Finish Line parent company plans multi-million-dollar headquarters expansion in the Fishers District
FISHERS, Ind. — JD North America, home to the JD Sports and Finish Line brands, will expand its headquarters operations in central Indiana, moving into a larger space in the Fishers District and creating up to 200 new high-wage jobs in the coming years.
Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced the multi-million-dollar expansion, which will allow JD North America to grow its current headquarters footprint, retain hundreds of existing jobs and strengthen its long-term presence in the state.
“Indiana’s strong sports economy makes us the ideal destination for JD North America and its continued growth,” said Governor Mike Braun. “As a global company, JD North America chose to invest in central Indiana over plenty of other options because of our pro-growth business climate and our talented Hoosier workforce. This expansion will retain hundreds of jobs in central Indiana and create 200 more, high-paying job opportunities in the coming years.”
JD North America Expands Headquarters Footprint in Central Indiana
JD North America, a subsidiary of UK-based JD Group, will purchase and renovate The Link at Fishers District, a more than 355,000-square-foot property featuring five interconnected buildings along I-69, just north of 106th Street.
The new headquarters will anchor the Fishers District, a growing culinary, retail and entertainment destination in Hamilton County. The space will allow JD North America to create a modern, talent-focused workplace that reflects its position as a leading athletic and lifestyle retailer.
The company plans to begin renovations in 2027. Once completed, the headquarters will house JD North America’s existing central Indiana workforce of approximately 400 team members and support the hiring of up to 200 additional employees over the next few years.
JD North America will also retain its Indianapolis distribution center, which currently employs approximately 500 workers.
