Tenant census reports 1,553 jobs across the Texarkana industrial park, with employment outside Red River Army Depot rising 4 percent.
TEXARKANA, USA — September 30, 2026 — TexAmericas Center reported a record $101.95 million in annual payroll in its 2026 Annual Tenant Employment and Payroll Census. That is an increase of approximately $6.7 million, or 7 percent, from $95.27 million in 2025.
Employment across the TexAmericas Center footprint reached 1,553 jobs, up 17 from the previous year. Outside Red River Army Depot (RRAD), employment rose by 52 jobs to 1,304, a 4 percent increase.
TexAmericas Center conducts the annual census of tenants and operations across its campuses to measure its economic impact on the greater Texarkana region.
“Payroll across our footprint reached its highest level this year, and employment continued to grow,” said Scott Norton, executive director and CEO of TexAmericas Center. “We’re pleased with those results, especially with payroll increasing by nearly $6.7 million. Helping employers build lasting operations here remains our focus.”
