New website section connects companies with U.S. market entry support, manufacturing resources, financing, incentives and logistics services
TEXARKANA, USA (October 7, 2026) — TexAmericas Center has expanded its online foreign direct investment resources to help international companies evaluate opportunities to establish and grow operations in the Texarkana region.
The new website section brings together information on manufacturing support, financing and incentives, available industrial properties, logistics services and assistance with entering the U.S. market. Dedicated navigation allows businesses to explore resources based on their operational needs and expansion plans.
“Companies considering their first U.S. location have questions that go well beyond finding a building,” said Eric Voyles, Executive Vice President and Chief Economic Development Officer of TexAmericas Center. “They need to know how they will get started, what resources are available and who they can work with locally. We’ve expanded this section so they can find information that fits their plans and see how TexAmericas Center can help, whether they’re starting with warehousing and distribution or preparing to open a manufacturing facility.”
Resources Support U.S. Market Entry and Manufacturing Expansion
The expanded foreign direct investment section includes information on:
- Manufacturing, logistics and soft-landing support to help companies enter the U.S. market and develop operations.
- Project acceleration and business services supporting new locations and facility expansions.
- Financing and incentives available to support international investment.
- International businesses in the Texarkana region, highlighting the area’s existing global business presence.
- Japanese business expansion, including Japan-U.S. manufacturing initiatives and support for companies considering U.S. operations.
Existing logistics content will remain available as a retitled subpage within the new section. Visitors can also explore available sites and buildings.
Strengthening International Business Partnerships
The website expansion follows TexAmericas Center’s continued engagement with Japanese business and economic development partners. In February 2026, the organization hosted a Tokyo Metropolitan Government delegation for campus tours and discussions about site readiness, logistics, workforce resources and U.S. market entry support.
TexAmericas Center is one of 18 Texas economic development partners designated under the Texas-Tokyo Statement of Mutual Cooperation to help Tokyo-based small and medium-sized enterprises explore expansion opportunities in Texas.
The organization has also recently engaged with companies from Poland, South Korea, Israel, Spain, Mexico, Canada and other countries.
TexAmericas Center is scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding with AIST Solutions and AIST Solutions America on October 8, 2026, at Texas A&M University–Texarkana. The agreement will establish a formal working relationship to support testing, demonstration and potential commercial production of Japanese technologies in the Texarkana region.
Webinar to Highlight Faster Business Startup
As part of its annual “Getting the Most Out of Public Incentives” series, TexAmericas Center plans to host a foreign direct investment webinar in the second quarter of 2027.
The session will examine the organization’s focus on Speed-to-Occupancy and how its third-party logistics division can help international companies begin operations while evaluating a larger U.S. expansion.
Services such as warehousing, inventory management and fulfillment can support companies seeking a trial operating location before committing to a full-scale manufacturing investment.
