ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Apr. 21, 2026) — Winland Foods announced plans to expand its South St. Louis manufacturing facility with a $38.5 million investment that will create 25 new jobs and increase production capacity for pasta products.
The project will enhance the company’s existing plant at 611 E. Marceau Street by adding new production lines and improved rail car access, helping the facility operate more efficiently while supporting future growth.
Missouri leaders said the expansion reinforces the state’s position as a competitive destination for food manufacturing and industrial investment.
Governor Mike Kehoe said Missouri is proud to support companies that continue investing in the state and strengthening its manufacturing economy.
St. Louis Facility to Increase Jumbo Shell Pasta Production
Headquartered in Oak Brook, Winland Foods operates 17 production facilities across the U.S. and Canada. The St. Louis operation currently employs more than 100 workers and produces egg pasta, manicotti, and jumbo shells.
The latest expansion is expected to significantly boost the facility’s ability to produce and package jumbo shell pasta products, while increasing operational flexibility.
Company leadership said the investment reflects confidence in the St. Louis workforce and the plant’s long-term role in the company’s manufacturing network.
Expansion Expected Online in Fall 2026
The new production capacity is scheduled to become operational in fall 2026.
State officials noted the project was supported through the Missouri Works Program, which assists companies with expansion, job creation, and capital investment through withholdings or tax credits.
