State-approved projects are projected to generate $174.2 million in new tax revenue across Clark, Washoe, Storey and Lyon counties
CARSON CITY, Nev. (August 14, 2026) – Nine companies plan to invest nearly $153 million in Nevada following the approval of approximately $17.6 million in tax abatements by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
The projects are expected to create 2,159 jobs over five years with an average hourly wage of $34.85. GOED projects the companies will generate more than $174.2 million in new state tax revenue during their respective abatement periods.
The approvals cover 10 projects across Clark, Washoe, Storey and Lyon counties. Hyve Solutions Corporation received abatements for separate manufacturing projects in Reno and North Las Vegas.
“Since day one, my administration has focused on creating a business climate where companies can invest, innovate and succeed,” the governor said. “Today’s announcement is further proof those efforts are paying off.”
The governor said the projects will diversify Nevada’s economy, create more than 2,100 quality jobs and provide new opportunities for Nevada families.
ALPLA Plans Clark County Manufacturing Facility
ALPLA Inc. plans to establish a plastic bottle manufacturing facility in Clark County.

Buckeye Corrugated Expands Northern Nevada Packaging Operations
Buckeye Corrugated Inc. plans to establish and expand advanced corrugated packaging manufacturing operations in northern Nevada.

The project will add packaging manufacturing capacity and strengthen northern Nevada’s advanced manufacturing sector.
Western Steel Plans Fernley Processing and Fabrication Facility
Western Steel Service Center LLC will establish a steel processing and fabrication facility in Fernley.

- Capital investment: $4.88 million
- Projected new tax revenue: $4.05 million

The company expects to complete its initial hiring and investment during the first two years of operation.
Hyve Solutions Plans Reno High-Tech Manufacturing Facility
Hyve Solutions Corporation plans to establish a high-tech manufacturing operation in Reno.

The Reno project represents the largest near-term employment commitment among the approved projects.
Hyve Solutions Adds North Las Vegas Manufacturing Project
Hyve Solutions also plans to establish a separate high-tech manufacturing facility in North Las Vegas.

Nimble Precision Plans $46 Million Equipment Investment
Nimble Precision Inc. received approval for a manufacturing project represented by the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance.

Greif Packaging LLC plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Reno.

Type III Inc. plans to establish manufacturing, assembly and engineering service operations in Reno.

The company’s average wage is the second-highest among the newly approved projects.
Projects Expand Nevada’s Advanced Industry Base
The approved projects span high-tech manufacturing, packaging, steel fabrication, plastic products, data centers, engineering services and business operations.
The individual project summaries identify 1,501 jobs expected primarily within the first two years of operation, while GOED projects the companies will collectively create 2,159 jobs over five years.
