A New $5–7 Million Manufacturing Facility in Liberty County
HINESVILLE, Georgia – September 22, 2025 – The Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA) today announced that Atlantic Building Components, a leading wood truss manufacturer headquartered in South Carolina, will open a new manufacturing facility in Liberty County, Georgia. The expansion represents a $5–7 million capital investment and will create 25 to 30 new jobs in the local community.
Strengthening Service in Coastal Georgia
The new facility marks Atlantic Building Components’ first manufacturing plant in Georgia and will enable the company to better serve the rapidly growing Coastal Georgia residential construction market.
“The Coastal Georgia market has experienced tremendous growth, and we expect that momentum to continue,” said Mr. Broach, President and CEO of Atlantic Building Components. “Establishing our new truss manufacturing plant in Hinesville strengthens our ability to serve customers more efficiently while building new relationships in the region. By manufacturing closer to our customers, we will reduce costs, increase responsiveness, and deliver greater value. This investment reflects our long-term commitment to supporting growth in Coastal Georgia.”
Community Impact and Local Support
Known internally as Project Roof during the site selection process, Atlantic Building Components selected Liberty County for its strategic location, workforce, and business-friendly climate. The company specializes in high-quality trusses for residential construction, serving local, regional, and national builders.
“We are honored to welcome Mr. Broach and Atlantic Building Components to Liberty County,” said State Representative and LCDA Board Chairman Al Williams. “Their decision to locate here not only strengthens our business landscape but also creates new jobs that will benefit our community for years to come.”

A Milestone for Hinesville Technology Park
The new facility will be located in LCDA’s Hinesville Technology Park, making it the first true business operation in the park in more than a decade. In recent years, the LCDA has donated land in the park for public use, including a site for the Hinesville Fire Department.
“We are excited to see renewed activity in the park and to welcome Atlantic Building Components as the anchor for future business growth,” said Brynn Grant, CEO of the LCDA. “We hope this location and the required extension of Technology Drive will encourage continued development in Hinesville Technology Park, paving the way for more companies and more jobs in our community.”
Strategic Advantages of Liberty County
Atlantic Building Components’ investment underscores Liberty County’s strengths as a business location, including:
- Access to major transportation corridors for efficient distribution
- A skilled workforce ready to support advanced manufacturing
- A pro-business environment that supports long-term growth
With this expansion, Liberty County continues to demonstrate its role as a competitive location for manufacturing and investment in Coastal Georgia.
