Canadian industrial automation company establishes its first U.S. operation in Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 12, 2026) – BOS Innovations has officially opened its new advanced manufacturing facility in Lexington, marking the Canadian company’s first operation in the United States.
The $5.4 million project is expected to create 111 full-time jobs and expand Kentucky’s growing advanced manufacturing and industrial automation sector. The facility was initially announced in June 2025.

Lexington Facility Supports BOS Innovations’ U.S. Growth
BOS Innovations selected Lexington in response to its expanding customer base across the United States. The new facility will allow the company to work more closely with American manufacturers while improving service responsiveness, cross-border collaboration and supply chain integration.
The Lexington operation will also provide a collaborative environment where manufacturers can meet with BOS engineers, evaluate industrial automation technologies and develop customized solutions for their operations.
