New Independence facility will expand fulfillment, warehousing and supply chain capacity for the family-owned manufacturer
INDEPENDENCE, Ky. (September 2, 2026) — RSA Properties LLC and Camco Chemical have announced plans to construct a new 130,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center on Camco Chemical’s existing Holton Drive campus in Independence, Kentucky.
The new facility will expand Camco’s fulfillment and distribution capacity while strengthening its broader supply chain capabilities and supporting continued growth across its contract manufacturing operations in Northern Kentucky.
RSA Properties, the family-owned real estate entity developing the project, will work with Furlong Building as contractor. Once complete, Camco Chemical will integrate the facility into its existing operations.
Expansion Supports Camco’s Growing Supply Chain Operations
Camco Chemical is a third-generation, family-owned company that began in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, more than 65 years ago.
The company has grown into a contract manufacturing and supply chain services provider serving product and brand owners across a range of consumer, commercial, institutional and industrial markets.
The new Independence facility is designed to increase Camco’s ability to provide integrated services including manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, packaging and logistics.

Hothem said the investment will strengthen Camco’s ability to serve customers while building additional capacity for its next stage of growth.
Northern Kentucky Location Supports Logistics and Distribution
Camco’s growth has been supported by Northern Kentucky’s transportation infrastructure, central geographic location and access to critical materials.
Those advantages have become increasingly important as manufacturers and consumer brands seek centrally located supply chain partners that can provide flexible production and distribution solutions.
Companies are also placing greater emphasis on reducing supply chain risk, shortening delivery times and improving speed to market.
The expansion reinforces Northern Kentucky’s position as a strategic location for manufacturing, logistics and supply chain operations with access to customers across the United States.

Regional economic development leaders said Camco’s expansion reflects the strength of Northern Kentucky’s advanced manufacturing sector.

Company Continues Long-Term Investment in Kentucky
The project represents another stage in Camco Chemical’s growth from its founding in 1960 to a multi-generational manufacturing and supply chain company.
In 2024, Camco and its ownership acquired and renovated the former IRS facility in Florence, Kentucky, to support additional growth.
The latest project will develop remaining acreage on the company’s Independence campus that has been reserved for future expansion for more than 15 years.

New Facility Positions Camco for Future Growth
Once completed, the 130,000-square-foot facility will give Camco additional warehousing and distribution capacity while creating a more integrated platform for contract manufacturing, fulfillment and logistics services.
The investment is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to respond to increasingly complex customer supply chains while maintaining its long-term operating base in Northern Kentucky.
For the region, the project adds new industrial capacity and further reinforces Northern Kentucky’s role as a competitive location for manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations.
