New Southeast Facility Strengthens Industrial Screening Capacity and Customer Service
GRAY, GA (Apr. 17, 2026) — Compass Wire Cloth has expanded its U.S. manufacturing footprint through the acquisition of the screening division of Sefar Corporation in Gray, Georgia, a move designed to strengthen service capabilities, improve turnaround times, and support growing demand across the Southeast.
The transaction officially closed on March 31, 2026. Under the agreement, Compass Wire Cloth assumes responsibility for the Round Ring Screen business, including the Gray manufacturing facility and its existing workforce.
The newly acquired Georgia operation adds specialized pre-tension screen manufacturing capabilities that complement Compass Wire Cloth’s current production operations in New Jersey. Company leaders said the expansion creates a turnkey production platform that increases manufacturing capacity for industrial separation, sifting, and screening solutions.
By establishing a Southeast manufacturing and warehouse presence, Compass Wire Cloth expects to improve response times, reduce shipping costs, and better serve vibratory separator customers, distributors, and OEM partners throughout the region.
All orders, customer service, and business coordination will continue to be managed through the company’s New Jersey headquarters, ensuring continuity for customers nationwide. Compass Wire Cloth said product quality, specifications, and service levels will remain unchanged during the transition.

The Gray facility will now operate under the Compass Wire Cloth brand and focus on manufacturing round pre-tension screens and related products for Southeast manufacturing markets.
