INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Governor Mike Braun today announced that Comlux America, a privately held premier aircraft completion and maintenance center headquartered in Indianapolis, will grow its operations in the city, with plans to more than double its current workforce and create up to 375 new, high-wage jobs by the end of 2030.

Comlux America’s expansion will bring 375 new jobs to the region and create unmatched opportunities for Hoosiers to train and skill up for these competitive careers.”
Indiana is home to the highest concentration of manufacturing jobs in the nation and ranks No. 4 in the US for aerospace manufacturing attractiveness by PwC, making the Hoosier state the ideal destination to support Comlux America’s continued growth. Comlux America is part of Indiana’s robust aerospace sector, which has invested more than $1 billion in the state since 2013.
Comlux America plans to invest more than $22 million to expand its workforce and enhance its existing 247,000-square-foot operations at the Indianapolis International Airport to meet growing demand for its advanced cabin completions, upgrades and refurbishments for narrow- and wide-body aircraft. Demand for Comlux America’s VVIP completions and maintenance & repair services has grown steadily over the past few years, and this investment ensures the company can continue welcoming new programs while maintaining the craftsmanship and delivery standards that define its work worldwide. Comlux America, which has already doubled its aircraft capacity in recent months with two additional hangar spaces, will invest in hangar and production space enhancements and advanced tooling and equipment, enabling the company to increase throughput, improve efficiency and ensure timely deliveries of completions while also expanding its capacity for light-to-medium aircraft maintenance.

The company has already started hiring for new positions, which include aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, interior and cabinetry specialists, engineers, quality assurance personnel and project management professionals.
