FRANKFORT, KY — September 10, 2025 — HealthTrackRx, a leading infectious disease diagnostics laboratory, has officially opened its newest and most advanced facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
The $45.5 million investment is set to create 230 full-time, high-wage jobs, further strengthening the region’s growing life sciences and biotechnology sector.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman, local officials, and company leadership, marking a major milestone in Kentucky’s ongoing efforts to attract innovative healthcare companies and expand access to cutting-edge medical services.
“Making sure Kentuckians have access to quality health care is a top priority—and it’s key to our state’s continued growth,” said Governor Andy Beshear. “HealthTrackRx’s decision to invest in Kentucky is a testament to our skilled workforce, strong business climate, and commitment to innovation.”
Located at 2425 Universal Way, the new facility is HealthTrackRx’s largest and most technologically advanced laboratory to date. It will support the company’s rapid growth in molecular diagnostics and enable faster, more scalable delivery of next-morning test results—far exceeding the industry standard of three to five days.
“We have the workforce, resources, and thriving business economy HealthTrackRx needs to provide innovative healthcare solutions,” said Lt. Gov. Coleman. “This is a powerful example of what happens when we work together as Team Kentucky.”
A New Era for Biotech in Louisville
The Louisville operation features state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure designed to meet rising demand for infectious disease testing and antibiotic stewardship. The facility will employ a highly skilled labor pool, offering above-average wages and contributing to the region’s reputation as a hub for biotech innovation.
“Louisville is proud to welcome HealthTrackRx and their cutting-edge diagnostics facility,” said Mayor Craig Greenberg. “This investment strengthens our life sciences sector and affirms our city’s role as a national leader in healthcare innovation.”
“HealthTrackRx’s expansion into Louisville—and their choice of UPS Labport—highlights our logistics advantage and innovation ecosystem,” added Trevor Pawl, CEO of the Louisville Economic Development Alliance. “This facility signals a new era of regional growth driven by technology, talent, and transformative investment.”
