New 130,000-square-foot facility will expand the company’s capacity to support Tinker Air Force Base and Oklahoma’s growing defense industry
OKLAHOMA CITY — (September 22, 2026) — KIHOMAC, an aerospace and defense manufacturing, engineering and services company, plans to invest $25 million in a major expansion of its Oklahoma City operations.
The company announced the project with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce’s Aerospace Commerce Economic Services team during the 2026 AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.
The expansion will include an approximately 130,000-square-foot facility designed to significantly increase KIHOMAC’s capacity to serve Tinker Air Force Base and the surrounding aerospace and defense community.

KIHOMAC Expansion Strengthens Aerospace Sustainment Capacity
Based in Oklahoma City, KIHOMAC provides manufacturing, engineering and other specialized services to the aerospace and defense industries.
The planned facility will give the company additional space and production capacity to support military aviation sustainment operations and the broader network of aerospace businesses surrounding Tinker Air Force Base.
Tinker is one of Oklahoma’s most important aerospace and defense assets and supports an extensive regional supply chain of manufacturers, engineering firms, maintenance providers and technology companies.

Oklahoma Aerospace and Defense Industry Continues Growing
Aerospace and defense is Oklahoma’s second-largest and fastest-growing industry. The sector recorded another year of substantial growth in 2025, securing approximately $450 million in new capital investment.
That investment came from 37 companies establishing or expanding operations in Oklahoma and is expected to create more than 1,300 jobs.
Industry events such as the AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference give Oklahoma companies opportunities to showcase their capabilities, establish new business relationships and promote continued investment in the state.
KIHOMAC participated in the 2026 conference as an Oklahoma industry partner, highlighting the state’s expanding role in aerospace manufacturing, engineering and military sustainment.
