ST. PETERS, Mo. — October 2, 2026 — King Technology has opened a new manufacturing, warehousing and distribution center in St. Peters, Missouri, investing at least $17 million to expand operations and serve customers across the United States.
The 208,000-square-foot facility, located at Lakeside Logistics Center in St. Charles County, is expected to employ 40 workers within the next three years. The company celebrated the opening with a September 29 ribbon-cutting event attended by Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and local officials.
The investment marks the water care company’s first expansion beyond its Minnesota location and establishes a centralized operation in the St. Louis region.
St. Peters Facility Supports Nationwide Distribution
King Technology’s new Missouri operation will bring manufacturing, storage and distribution together to support hundreds of distributors and dealers nationwide.
The company develops water care and sanitization systems for hot tubs, swim spas and swimming pools. Its new location will support long-term growth and more efficient service to its U.S. customer network.

Missouri Investment Expected to Support 40 Jobs
The project adds manufacturing and logistics activity to St. Charles County while creating employment opportunities in the St. Louis region.

King Technology worked with state, regional and local partners to select and establish its second location. Partners included Ameren, the City of St. Peters, the Economic Development Council of St. Charles County, Greater St. Louis, Inc., the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri Partnership and Spire.

Expansion Builds on Nearly Five Decades of Water Care Innovation
Founded in 1978, King Technology is a third-generation, family-owned company that will maintain its headquarters in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
The company is best known for its FROG family of pre-filled water care products for in-ground and above-ground pools, swim spas and hot tubs. These products use patented mineral technology to maintain clear water while requiring significantly less chlorine.
