Hebron expansion strengthens Greater Columbus region’s role in advanced manufacturing and critical infrastructure
HEBRON, OH (May 26, 2026) — Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. has opened a new advanced manufacturing facility in Hebron, Ohio, marking a major U.S. growth milestone for the company and adding momentum to Licking County’s expanding manufacturing base.
Located in the Greater Columbus region, the Hebron facility is designed to expand Perma-Pipe’s manufacturing capacity, improve operational efficiency and strengthen the company’s ability to serve customers across North America. Perma-Pipe specializes in engineered piping solutions, including pre-insulated piping, containment systems, anti-corrosion coatings and leak detection technologies used in energy, industrial, utility and critical infrastructure projects.
The expansion also represents Perma-Pipe’s first U.S. manufacturing operation in more than 60 years, according to GROW Licking County, which welcomed the company’s investment and noted the project further positions Hebron and Licking County as a hub for advanced manufacturing and innovation.
Perma-Pipe’s Ohio investment comes as demand continues to grow across several of the company’s core markets, including AI-driven data centers, district heating and cooling, industrial development and energy infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company announced a strategic expansion initiative focused on serving the fast-growing U.S. data center market and district energy sector.
The new Hebron operation is expected to support critical infrastructure projects with faster service, increased production capacity and improved geographic reach. Recent hiring activity tied to the Hebron plant includes roles in welding, pipe fitting, production, maintenance, operations, safety and material handling.
