Ventcon, Inc. announced the company will invest $6.7M to establish its first manufacturing operations in Madison County, Tennessee. As part of the company’s expansion to the southeastern U.S., Ventcon will create 75 new jobs in the County.
Located at 130 Beasley Street, Ventcon’s Jackson facility will position the HVAC duct fabricator to be geographically closer to two of its sizeable, contracted projects with Ford Motor Company.
Ventcon’s significant opportunities with Blue Oval City in Haywood County and BlueOvalSK Battery Park in central Kentucky have allowed Ventcon to expand outside of its hub in Michigan, offering a permanent location for the company to expand its business partnerships.
Ventcon, Inc. has been a leader in the HVAC sheet metal fabrication industry since its founding in 1970. The company has a strong background working with well-known businesses and institutions such as the University of Michigan, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler and Pfizer. With the addition of 75 new jobs in Jackson, the company will employ more than 250 people between its operations in Michigan and Tennessee.
Since 2018, TNECD has supported nearly 60 economic development projects in the Southwest Tennessee region, resulting in approximately 9,700 job commitments and more than $6 billion in capital investment.
Governor Bill Lee stated, “When companies choose to invest in Tennessee, it’s a testament to our strong business climate and highly skilled workforce. I thank Ventcon for its decision to establish operations in Madison County and create 75 new manufacturing jobs so that Tennesseans across the region can thrive.”
Ventcon, Inc.’s President Todd Hill said, “What an exciting opportunity for the State of Tennessee. Ventcon is honored to be part of the vision for the Blue Oval City project and with hard work, to be establishing our Ventcon operation in Jackson, Tennessee. We look forward to becoming part of the community now and in the future.”
