Foam Technology Leader Marks 25 Years in Northern Kentucky with Walton Facility Expansion
WALTON, Ky. (July 9, 2026) — Zotefoams Inc. has officially celebrated the completion of a $13.8 million expansion at its North American headquarters in Walton, Kentucky, a milestone that coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary of operations in Northern Kentucky.
State and local officials, including Kentucky Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, joined company leadership for a ribbon-cutting ceremony recognizing the investment, which significantly expands Zotefoams’ North American manufacturing capabilities while reinforcing Kentucky’s position as a leading destination for advanced manufacturing.
Expansion Increases Production and Supply Chain Resilience
The newly expanded facility transforms the Walton operation into a full end-to-end manufacturing site, providing customers across North America with:
- More than 20% increase in production capacity
- Shorter customer lead times
- Greater regional supply chain independence
- Increased availability of locally manufactured materials
- Enhanced manufacturing capabilities through new processing equipment
The project includes the installation of a low-pressure autoclave and washer line, while an additional extrusion line is expected to begin operations this month. That investment represents an additional $2.8 million in capital expenditures and will create two new jobs.
Since the company’s previous expansion in 2015, employment at the Walton facility has grown from 24 employees to approximately 100.
