Morrison, IL — Leading B2B E-commerce platform Alibaba.com is coming to Whiteside County on October 3, 2019, to introduce Northwest Illinois exporters and export ready businesses to the Alibaba.com Gold Supplier Program, an eCommerce platform that offers small and mid-sized businesses the ability to sell to markets served by Alibaba.com, including the U.S., Canada, Europe, India and Brazil and Asia.
Whiteside County Economic Development and its local partners will host a meeting for representatives from Alibaba B2B in North America and the region’s businesses on Thursday October 3, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Morrison Institute of Technology.
Alibaba’s John Caplan, Head of B2B in North America, explained, “Launched in 1999, Alibaba.com is a leading platform for global wholesale trade in the world, serving millions of buyers and suppliers around the world. The Alibaba Business-to-Business (B2B) trading platform is currently used by 10+ Million business buyers from around the world and U.S. companies now have the ability to be part of that growth with the introduction of the Alibaba.com Gold Supplier Program.”
