Advancing Manufacturing Capabilities with $15 Million Investment
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — AXN Automotive Systems is strengthening its presence in Kentucky with the grand opening of its newly relocated and expanded Louisville operations, representing a nearly $15 million investment and the creation of 10 new full-time jobs.
The milestone underscores continued momentum in Kentucky’s advanced manufacturing sector, with state and local leaders joining company officials to celebrate the project. Senior Advisor Rocky Adkins attended on behalf of Governor Andy Beshear.
The new facility, located on National Turnpike in Louisville, significantly enhances AXN’s production capabilities through the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies. Upgrades include the installation of robotic welding cells for precision axle fabrication, a new industrial paint booth to improve product durability and finish quality, and enhanced material handling and inspection systems to support quality assurance. Existing equipment was also relocated and optimized to streamline operations within the new production layout.
AXN Automotive Systems, headquartered in Louisville, is a leading supplier of high-performance undercarriage systems for heavy-duty trailers, trucks and off-road equipment. Founded in 2009, the company manufactures axles, suspensions and aftermarket components, while continuing to invest in emerging technologies such as nanotechnology and electrified axle systems. Company leadership noted the investment reflects a broader commitment to expanding U.S.-based manufacturing and advancing product innovation.
