Florham Park collaboration with MuseCell Innovations would expand U.S. biomanufacturing capacity for the Dezawa MuseCell platform
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (September 2, 2026) — New Jersey biotechnology company Celularity Inc. has announced a new manufacturing collaboration with Singapore-based MuseCell Innovations Pte. Ltd. that could generate more than $300 million in business over five years and create more than 200 high-tech jobs in Morris County.
Under the agreement, Celularity will establish U.S. manufacturing capability for Dezawa MuseCells at its 147,215-square-foot facility in Florham Park.
The initial project could serve as the foundation for a broader manufacturing relationship between the two companies. If successful, Celularity and MuseCell Innovations plan to expand the agreement to include additional products and programs based on the Dezawa MuseCell platform.
That broader collaboration could result in more than $300 million in aggregate purchases from Celularity over the next five years.
Expansion Could Create 200+ High-Tech Jobs
The potential expansion could create more than 200 positions at Celularity’s Florham Park operation.
Jobs are expected to span areas including biomanufacturing, quality control, engineering and operational support, adding to New Jersey’s growing life sciences and advanced manufacturing workforce.

Florham Park Facility to Support Advanced Cell Manufacturing
Muse cells are a naturally occurring, stress-enduring cell population discovered by Dr. Mari Dezawa.
The Dezawa MuseCell platform combines qualified starting materials with the licensed Dezawa Method and defined product specifications addressing identity, purity, viability, potency, traceability and lot release.
The manufacturing collaboration is expected to leverage Celularity’s existing infrastructure and expertise in cell-based technologies.
“Celularity brings the infrastructure and technical depth required to establish U.S. manufacturing across qualified bone marrow, adipose and perinatal sources,” said Dr. Dominik Duscher, CEO and president of MuseCell Innovations.
The agreement gives MuseCell Innovations access to an established U.S. manufacturing platform while allowing Celularity to expand its role as a contract and third-party manufacturing partner for advanced cellular technologies.
Deal Adds Momentum to New Jersey Biomanufacturing Sector
The proposed investment could further strengthen New Jersey’s position in biotechnology, life sciences and advanced biomanufacturing.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill highlighted the announcement as an example of the state’s innovation economy and its ability to support the growth of homegrown life sciences companies.
“I first visited Celularity in 2022, and its trajectory from a homegrown startup here in New Jersey to a thriving public company is everything that drives my optimism about the potential of the New Jersey innovation economy,” Sherrill wrote in a social media post.
“As advanced biomanufacturing continues to grow, investments like this send a clear message: New Jersey is open for business.”
The Florham Park project could provide an important economic development win for Morris County at a time when New Jersey continues to compete aggressively for high-value corporate investment, research operations and advanced manufacturing jobs.
New Jersey Life Sciences Investment Could Reach $300 Million
If the companies expand beyond the initial manufacturing project, the collaboration could become a significant long-term investment in New Jersey’s biotechnology sector.
More than $300 million in potential purchases, combined with over 200 anticipated jobs, would add manufacturing scale and technical employment to Celularity’s existing Morris County presence.
The agreement also underscores a broader trend within the life sciences industry as companies seek U.S.-based manufacturing capacity for advanced biologics, cell therapies and related technologies.
For New Jersey, the project could help reinforce the state’s long-standing position as a major life sciences hub while bringing new investment and specialized manufacturing jobs to the Florham Park area.
