Cocoa Beach, FL — The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the selection of Marshall Hooks as its next Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Director. Hooks hails from Dawson, Georgia and is currently the President & CEO of the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. With over 3 combined years of Chamber experience, Hooks brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a love of tourism and fundraising. Hooks holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
"I am truly honored and blessed to have been selected as the Director of the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce's CVB,” said Hooks. “I have big shoes to fill and I am excited to work with Jennifer, the Chamber team, the partners, and the community to continue promoting the Cocoa Beach area as one of Florida's top tourist destinations."
Hooks will begin his new role at the Chamber’s CVB on Monday, September 21.
