Global logistics provider expands Southwest footprint with $14.5 million investment and up to 160 jobs
MESA, Ariz. (Feb. 11, 2026) – Global transport and logistics provider DSV has officially broken ground on its new Arizona regional headquarters in Mesa, marking a significant expansion of the company’s presence in the Southwest. The $14.5 million project will deliver a 950,000-square-foot logistics facility designed to support Arizona’s fast-growing manufacturing, semiconductor and distribution sectors.
Located at 9560 E. Pecos Road, the new campus will consolidate DSV’s regional operations under one roof and serve as a hub for customers across the southwestern United States. At full capacity, the facility is expected to employ approximately 160 people.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together DSV executives, customers and regional partners, along with representatives from the Arizona Commerce Authority, Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the City of Mesa.
Strategic Location Supports Key Industries
DSV’s new regional headquarters is strategically positioned near Mesa Gateway Airport and major highway corridors, providing efficient access to domestic and international markets. The site also places the company in close proximity to Arizona’s expanding semiconductor and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
Company leaders say the investment aligns with surging demand for specialized logistics solutions in high-growth industries such as semiconductors, consumer products and technology manufacturing.
“We’ve watched Arizona’s incredible growth in manufacturing and distribution, and we’re building this facility to support that momentum,” said Josh Summers, CEO of DSV Contract Logistics North America. “Arizona is the perfect place to continue our growth and build connections that will shape the future of supply chain management across multiple industries.”

Comprehensive Logistics Hub
The Mesa facility will house DSV’s full suite of services, including:
- Air, sea and road transportation
- Contract logistics
- Inventory management solutions
- Integrated supply chain services
By bringing multiple logistics divisions together, DSV aims to deliver greater efficiency, faster response times and concentrated expertise for customers operating in time-sensitive and high-value supply chains.
The facility will also incorporate state-of-the-art technology and sustainable design features, including on-site solar panels, supporting DSV’s global sustainability goals while reducing long-term operating costs.
Regional and Statewide Impact
Arizona economic development leaders highlighted the project as a reflection of the state’s growing reputation as a logistics and advanced industry hub.
“Arizona’s rapid economic growth and leadership in advanced industries are driving our emergence as a premier logistics center,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “DSV’s new regional headquarters strengthens our supply chain infrastructure and supports our thriving semiconductor sector.”
Christine Mackay, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, noted that the project enhances Greater Phoenix’s role in global trade.
“Situated in a major U.S. hub for advanced manufacturing with global connectivity, DSV is well positioned to grow alongside Mesa and the Greater Phoenix region,” Mackay said.
Mesa leaders emphasized the local benefits tied to job creation and infrastructure investment.
“This facility strengthens Mesa’s position in the semiconductor and technology supply chain while creating valuable jobs for our residents,” said Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman.
Vice Mayor Scott Somers added that the project reflects the city’s long-term economic development strategy.
“Mesa has made intentional investments in infrastructure and education to attract high-value industries,” Somers said. “DSV’s investment is a strong vote of confidence in our region.”
Looking Ahead
Construction is expected to be completed in early 2027, when the site will begin operating as DSV’s primary logistics hub for the southwestern U.S.
As supply chains continue to evolve and companies prioritize speed, reliability and proximity to advanced manufacturers, DSV’s Mesa investment underscores Arizona’s growing importance in national and global logistics networks.
