Canadian manufacturer to create more than 40 jobs at Las Cruces Innovation & Industrial Park
LAS CRUCES, N.M. — January 23, 2026 — Endurance Technologies Ltd. has selected Las Cruces, New Mexico, as the location for its first manufacturing operation in the United States, marking a significant international investment win for the New Mexico Borderplex.
The project was announced by the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA), in partnership with the City of Las Cruces and the New Mexico Economic Development Department (NMEDD).
Endurance Technologies will establish a steel pipe manufacturing facility in an existing 45,000-square-foot building at the Las Cruces Innovation & Industrial Park. The project is expected to create 41 new jobs, further strengthening the region’s manufacturing base and reinforcing the Borderplex’s growing reputation as a competitive destination for international industrial investment.

Founded in Calgary, Canada, Endurance Technologies specializes in the production of high-performance steel pipe engineered to withstand extreme wear, erosion, and corrosion. The company serves a range of critical industries, including oil and gas, agriculture, forestry, and mining.
Following a rigorous site selection process that evaluated logistics, workforce availability, and utility infrastructure, Endurance Technologies selected Las Cruces to support its U.S. expansion strategy.
“This is huge for our community, and it doesn’t happen because of one person — it happens because of a team,” said Las Cruces Mayor Eric Enriquez. “We have to recognize the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance for their work, research, and recruitment efforts to bring this company to Las Cruces. New Mexico Economic Development, the Las Cruces Economic Development Department, and Community Development all played a critical role. That’s how things get done — together.”
Jeff Pitura, President and CEO of Endurance Technologies, emphasized the importance of collaboration throughout the site selection process.
“Mayor Enriquez highlighted that it takes a team, and New Mexico should be proud of the individuals behind us — MVEDA and the New Mexico Economic Development Department,” said Pitura. “They were instrumental in giving us a great level of comfort. We’ve been in several meetings together, and they get it. In order for them to be successful, they needed us to be successful — and that was the relationship we were really looking for.”

The investment reflects more than a year of focused collaboration among local, regional, and state partners.
“Their decision to invest here highlights the strength of our workforce and the advantages our community offers,” said Brian Garcia, Vice President of Business Development for MVEDA. “This project demonstrates why the New Mexico Borderplex is a place where businesses can grow, compete, and thrive.”
To support the company’s capital investment, Endurance Technologies received a package of local and state incentives, including LEDA assistance, an Industrial Revenue Bond (IRB), the NM Borderplex Closing Incentive, and Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) support.
Endurance Technologies joins a growing list of Canadian companies successfully operating in the New Mexico Borderplex, including Saputo and GreenPower Motor Company, which recently announced Santa Teresa as its U.S. manufacturing hub.
The company is preparing to begin construction improvements to the existing facility and anticipates opening its Las Cruces operation before the end of the year.
Partners supporting the project include the City of Las Cruces City Council, NAI 1st Valley, the New Mexico Partnership, and NMEDD.
