More than 40 employers to participate in January 22 event at Capital One Hall
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — As Northern Virginia continues to strengthen its position as one of the nation’s most dynamic employment markets, the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) will host a complimentary hiring event on January 22, 2026, at Capital One Hall in Tysons. The event will bring together more than 40 employers actively recruiting for thousands of open roles across the region.
Designed to serve professionals at every career stage, the event will support transitioning federal employees and contractors, as well as students, veterans, cleared professionals, and experienced workers seeking new opportunities in Northern Virginia’s innovation-driven economy.
“Northern Virginia’s economy is built on adaptability, talent, and purpose-driven work,” said Victor Hoskins, President and CEO of FCEDA. “At a time when many professionals are reassessing their next step, this event is about creating meaningful connections between skilled talent and employers who are hiring right now. Our goal is to ensure opportunity remains visible, inclusive, and accessible.”
Connecting Talent with Opportunity
Participating employers represent a broad cross-section of Northern Virginia’s innovation ecosystem, including companies in information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, aerospace, healthcare technology, artificial intelligence, data analytics, renewable energy, and professional services.
Recruiters from organizations such as Amentum, CACI, Peraton, Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), Xcelerate Solutions, and others will be on site to discuss open positions, hiring needs, and long-term career pathways. While cleared professionals are encouraged to attend, job seekers from all backgrounds are welcome.
Supporting Career Transitions
In addition to direct engagement with employers, attendees will have access to complimentary professional headshots, provided by on-site photographers. The service is designed to help participants strengthen their resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and digital portfolios.
“Successful career transitions require confidence, visibility, and clarity about where experience fits next,” Hoskins added. “This event is designed to support the whole person—not just their resume.”
