MESA, Ariz. (January 12, 2026) — Gifthealth, a unified digital pharmacy platform, today celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art pharmacy in Mesa, Arizona, marking a major expansion of the company’s national footprint and its first operational facility in the Southwest.
The 43,000-square-foot pharmacy is expected to support up to 200 new, highly skilled jobs and features advanced, robotics-assisted processing capable of filling up to 28,000 prescriptions per day. The Mesa facility is designed to significantly expand Gifthealth’s national capacity while improving speed, accuracy, and reliability in prescription fulfillment.
Gifthealth will partner with UPS and deploy advanced RFID scanning and twin-packaging technology, enabling faster delivery, real-time tracking, and enhanced accuracy for patients nationwide. The facility’s automation-driven workflow is central to Gifthealth’s proprietary Digi+Hub model, which combines the speed of digital pharmacy with the flexibility of hub-based services—eliminating friction, reducing delays, and helping more patients start and remain on therapy.
“This grand opening is a pivotal moment in our mission to simplify and unify the entire patient prescription journey,” said Chip Parkinson, CEO of Gifthealth. “The Mesa facility significantly enhances our national capacity, allowing us to deliver a fast, reliable, and truly frictionless experience to millions of patients who depend on us for their care.”
State and local leaders highlighted the project’s impact on Arizona’s growing healthcare and bioscience ecosystem.
“Gifthealth’s Mesa pharmacy strengthens Arizona’s reputation as a destination for the world’s most innovative healthcare companies,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “With this new state-of-the-art facility, Gifthealth joins a thriving healthcare and bioscience ecosystem while creating skilled jobs in a rapidly growing industry.”
“Mesa continues to attract innovative companies that are shaping the future of healthcare,” said Mesa Mayor Mark Freeman. “Gifthealth’s new pharmacy brings advanced technology that improves efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes nationwide.”
Vice Mayor Scott Somers added, “We are excited to welcome Gifthealth to southeast Mesa’s rapidly growing business community. With up to 200 new jobs and cutting-edge, robotics-assisted processing, this facility represents another strong step toward our goal of attracting 100,000 high-wage, high-quality jobs to Mesa.”
