Cincinnati, OH — Two companies that have been growing in the region for decades are growing the Cincinnati region’s economy.
Hamilton Casework Solutions
A regional company expands as it outfits five state-of-the-art hospitals in Kuwait. Hamilton Casework Solutions, headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio has been making specialty office furniture in the region since 1966 and has expanded to higher education and medical markets.
“We started as a family-owned company in the 1960s,” said Brad Quick, General Manager of Hamilton Casework Solutions. “Today, we’re selling our products around the world – all created by the talented workers we’re finding here in the Greater Cincinnati area.”
Hamilton Casework Solutions sources many of its skilled employees from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) and Miami University.
“These students understand how to use state-of-the-art design software that allows us to specify and manufacturer these highly technical spaces,” said Brad Quick.
Zimcom
As more businesses migrate critical information and day-to-day work to the cloud, they need trusted partners who understand the industry. Zimcom, a Liberty One Company, can be that partner. In March of 2017 Zimcom merged with Liberty Center One out of Detroit, Michigan and is renewing its commitment to the greater Cincinnati area with continued high-growth job creation in a region committed to its technology ecosystem. Founded in greater Cincinnati in 1999, Zimcom now maintains operations in Cincinnati, Detroit and Dallas to support its robust cloud infrastructure and data protection services.
“We chose to grow in the Cincinnati region because of its vibrant tech ecosystem,” said Rex Smith CEO of Liberty Center One and Zimcom.
As the region builds its startup and tech communities, Greater Cincinnati will continue to solidify itself as a destination for IT companies. Combining the available workforce with the low cost of living and doing business, it is clear why companies like Zimcom choose the Cincinnati region.
With these project announcements, REDI Cincinnati supported the creation of 2,097 new jobs, $222.73 million in capital investment and $77.75 million in new payroll.
