JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. – September 23, 2025 – The Fulton County Center for Regional Growth (FCCRG) announced that Johnstown Commerce Park, a 250-acre site spanning the Town of Johnstown and the Town of Mohawk along New York State Route 30A, is being advanced toward Shovel-Ready Certification through New York State’s FAST NY program. With over 75 acres immediately available, the site represents one of the region’s most strategically prepared development opportunities.
“From a development perspective, certainty is very important. And the only way you get certainty is to do the studies up front and get all the information,” said Mary Beth Bianconi, Partner at Delaware Engineering, DPC, which has led environmental and cultural assessments for the property.
FCCRG has invested significantly to remove risks and accelerate timelines for prospective developers. In partnership with Delaware Engineering, the organization has conducted comprehensive studies, including environmental, archaeological, and wetlands mapping, while advancing permits that can be secured ahead of an end user. This proactive approach provides investors with a clear picture of site conditions, utilities, and infrastructure.

- Utilities in place, including sewer, water, and electricity.
A 10,000-square-foot warehouse-ready configuration with ample land for drainage, parking, and road access. - Market positioning for advanced manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, food production, and safe energy, based on an in-depth market analysis led by Alexander “Sandy” Mathes, Jr. of Mathes Public Affairs.
