HARRISON, Ark. (November 6, 2025) — Provalus, a leading U.S.-based information technology (IT) and business services provider, has announced plans to open a new facility in Harrison, Arkansas, marking a significant investment in rural workforce development and digital innovation in the American Heartland.
The company will invest approximately $1 million into the Harrison facility, creating 150 high-value technology jobs over the next five years. The new location underscores Provalus’ mission to bring quality IT careers to rural communities across the United States.
Investing in Rural Workforce Growth
“Every Provalus site reflects our belief that great careers and great communities can grow together,” said Mike Keogh, President of Provalus. “By creating high-value technology careers in Boone County, we’re giving individuals the chance to build their futures without having to leave their hometowns. It’s about investing in people and helping small towns thrive again — and we’re honored to continue that mission here in Arkansas.”
Provalus’ Vice President of Facilities, Will Ruzic, praised the collaboration that made the project possible. “From day one, the City of Harrison and leaders across Arkansas understood the heart of our mission — to create opportunity and drive sustainable progress in rural America. This site represents what can happen when corporate and community partners unite around shared goals.”
Arkansas Leaders Applaud Provalus’ Commitment
This new operation marks Provalus’ second Arkansas location, following its ongoing success in Walnut Ridge, where the company is creating up to 200 jobs.
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders celebrated the expansion, emphasizing the state’s dedication to workforce readiness:
“Provalus’ expansion is a testament to Arkansas’ dedicated workforce and the spirit of our rural communities. Through initiatives like Arkansas ACCESS and Arkansas LAUNCH, we’re connecting talent with opportunity statewide. I’m proud that Provalus continues to see the incredible potential in rural Arkansas.”
Clint O’Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), added:
“After committing to Walnut Ridge, Provalus has doubled down on Arkansas with its decision to establish a new location in Harrison. This is a powerful endorsement of our state’s strong workforce and thriving rural communities.”
Transforming Downtown Harrison
Provalus will occupy 101 N. Main Street, in the historic Courthouse Square district of downtown Harrison. The redevelopment of this site is expected to spur further business growth and revitalization throughout the area.
“This project wouldn’t have been possible without the help of many,” said Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson. “We thank the Chamber of Commerce, Jeff Nielsen, and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission for their incredible support. Provalus’ investment will bring lasting economic benefits and new opportunities to our community.”
Jeff Nielsen, President and CEO of the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce, added:
“After nine months of work, we’re thrilled to announce Provalus’ commitment to Harrison. Their presence will bring new life to our downtown area and inspire further development. This is a transformational moment for Boone County.”
