WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (Mar. 11, 2026) — Sediver USA is expanding its manufacturing operations in West Memphis following a major production milestone, with plans to create more than 40 new jobs as part of ongoing capacity growth at the facility.
The company’s West Memphis plant has produced more than 5 million toughened glass insulator units since opening in 2017, reflecting sustained demand from U.S. utilities and continued investment in grid modernization and energy infrastructure.
To support future growth, Sediver has implemented a series of capital improvements focused on automation, equipment modernization and process optimization, enhancing production efficiency, safety and long-term scalability. Additional investments planned for 2026 are expected to further increase output and support expanded shift operations.
The facility currently employs approximately 78 workers and has steadily expanded operations since its launch, including the transition to a two-shift schedule in 2025. The upcoming expansion is expected to move the plant toward third and fourth shift operations, strengthening Sediver’s manufacturing footprint in the region.
Company leaders said the investment underscores Sediver’s long-term commitment to domestic manufacturing and the reliability of the U.S. power grid.

The West Memphis facility supplies insulators used in transmission and distribution systems nationwide, supporting utilities as they respond to increasing electricity demand driven by electrification, industrial expansion and data center growth.
Regional officials noted that the expansion highlights the continued growth of advanced manufacturing in eastern Arkansas and reinforces the region’s role in supporting critical energy infrastructure.
Once completed, the project will further enhance Sediver’s production capacity while creating new employment opportunities in Crittenden County.
