Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc. (QLF) announced they are investing $3.3M at Port Muskogee expanding their presence with the construction of a cutting-edge fertilizer facility. This strategic move is in response to the increasing demand for Liquid Carbon-Based Fertilizers (L-CBF), showcasing QLF’s commitment to delivering advanced solutions for the agronomy economy.
The expansion features a 150’ x 100’ building with advanced batch mixers and multiple storage tanks sprawled across 6.5 acres. This development underscores QLF’s dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its dealer and producer customers, with planned future growth and expansion.
Cory Berg, President of Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc., expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “Our Muskogee facility expansion is a reflection of our dedication to innovation and sustainability in agriculture. We are excited about the opportunities this brings not only for QLF but also for the local community and the agricultural industry at large.”
The strategic location of the expansion prioritizes improved river access for seamless barge and rail transportation, allowing QLF to serve its customers more effectively. This contributes to the overall efficiency of the supply chain and aligns with Port Muskogee’s ongoing efforts to enhance the region’s economic and agricultural landscape.
Kimbra Scott, Executive Director of Port Muskogee, emphasized the collaborative efforts, stating, “Port Muskogee remains committed to providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to support the growth of our partners. This expansion, complemented by our recent efforts to raise the base flood elevation of the riverfront property, aligns with our vision for a vibrant and resilient agricultural industry in Muskogee.”
As a national leader in the development and manufacturing of liquid feed supplements for dairy and beef, as well as fertilizers for crop production, QLF is distinguished as the largest user of domestic cane molasses. A family-owned company, QLF is renowned for its commitment to quality, consistency, and exceptional service.
The expansion not only addresses the need for increased production capacity but also aims to stimulate local economies. The project is expected to generate skilled manufacturing, transportation, and sales management jobs, contributing to the overall growth of the region.
Positioning QLF to meet the rising demand for L-CBF products, the expansion will allow the company to increase its current capacity five times to an impressive 10,000 annual tons by 2026.
