Creating Nearly 930 Jobs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Governor Bill Lee, Deputy Governor and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter, and leadership from T.RAD North America announced today that the company will expand its U.S. manufacturing footprint with a new facility in Clarksville, marking its first location in Tennessee.
As part of the project, T.RAD will invest $90.2 million and create 928 new jobs at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park South, a Select Tennessee Certified Site. The new operation will support increased production capacity and broaden T.RAD’s customer base across the Southeast.
Headquartered in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, T.RAD North America is a subsidiary of T.RAD, a Japanese manufacturer founded in 1936 as a radiator producer in Kawasaki. Today, the company operates across four continents and is recognized globally for innovation in heat-exchange technology for agriculture, construction equipment, and other industrial applications.
