Creating 258 New Advanced Manufacturing Jobs
HAMILTON, Ohio — The City of Hamilton and REDI Cincinnati today announced significant expansions by two global advanced manufacturing leaders, SencorpWhite and Salvagnini America, reinforcing Hamilton’s growing reputation as a Midwest hub for industrial automation, engineering innovation, and high-wage manufacturing jobs.
Together, the projects will create 258 new jobs, generate nearly $23 million in new annual payroll, and further strengthen southwest Ohio’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
SencorpWhite Establishes U.S. Headquarters in Hamilton
SencorpWhite, a global provider of automated storage and material handling solutions serving the medical, retail, and manufacturing sectors, has selected Hamilton as the location of its new U.S. headquarters.
The project will create 230 new jobs and generate approximately $20 million in new payroll. The company designs and manufactures vertical and horizontal carousels, vertical lift modules, and proprietary software used by customers worldwide.
Hamilton’s central U.S. location was a key factor in SencorpWhite’s site selection, allowing the company to reduce shipping times, lower transportation costs, and improve supply chain responsiveness. Ohio’s strong manufacturing base and deep pool of engineering talent—particularly in automation and industrial technologies—also played a critical role.
As part of the expansion, SencorpWhite is transferring highly automated manufacturing operations from Sweden to Ohio. The move will reduce ocean freight costs, shorten lead times, and expand global production capacity for the company’s Weland product line. Relocating operations to Ohio also enhances access to skilled talent and accelerates research and development, supporting continued innovation and new product launches.
“Moving to Hamilton marks an exciting new chapter for SencorpWhite,” said Corey Calla, President and CEO of SencorpWhite. “This investment positions us to accelerate innovation, strengthen our partnerships, and better support the industries that rely on our solutions. We’re building not just a new facility, but a foundation for the future. We are grateful for the local and state incentives that helped make this move possible and look forward to contributing to the continued growth and economic vitality of Hamilton and the state of Ohio.”
Salvagnini America Expands North American Hub in Hamilton
Salvagnini America, a division of Italy-based Salvagnini Group, is expanding its long-standing Hamilton operations, adding 28 new jobs and $2.8 million in new payroll, while retaining 118 existing positions, including 50 roles located across the United States.
Headquartered in Sarego, Italy, Salvagnini designs, builds, sells, and services flexible machines and systems for sheet metal processing. The Hamilton facility has served as the company’s North American hub for nearly 40 years.
The expansion will enhance Salvagnini’s customer experience center and modernize office space, creating a larger and more functional environment for employees and customers.
“Our continued investment in Hamilton reflects Salvagnini’s confidence in Ohio’s skilled workforce and strong educational and industrial ecosystem,” said Andrea Scarpari, CEO of Salvagnini America. “These new jobs will help us meet growing demand for advanced automation solutions and reinforce our position as a leader in sheet metal processing. Our ultimate goal is to continuously improve the customer experience through excellent support.”
