WESTMINSTER, SC – October 22, 2025 – Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products (Ulbrich), a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered wire solutions, announced plans to expand its operations in Oconee County, South Carolina. The company will invest $5 million to enhance its Westminster facility, a move that will create 15 new jobs and strengthen its position in advanced manufacturing.
Founded in 1924, Ulbrich supplies high-performance wire products to industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and energy. The Westminster facility, located at 692 Plant Road, specializes in the rolling, drawing, annealing, straightening, and precision winding of round, flat, and square wire products.
The new investment will fund facility upgrades, new machinery, automation systems, and material handling technologies, increasing production efficiency and capacity. Since acquiring the site in 2001, Ulbrich has invested more than $25 million in Oconee County operations.
