BONHAM, Texas (Mar. 18, 2026) — Global industrial equipment manufacturer Vector Systems Inc. will relocate its corporate headquarters from McKinney to Bonham, Texas, launching a significant operational expansion that underscores North Texas’ growing role in advanced manufacturing and industrial supply chains.
The Bonham Economic Development Corporation (BEDCO) announced the project, which includes new assembly operations, expanded manufacturing capacity and a multi-phase growth strategy expected to double the company’s workforce over the next three years.
The company’s initial expansion — an 18,000-square-foot addition to an existing facility located near Jones Field Airport along U.S. Highway 82 — is scheduled to open in early June. Vector Systems will also lease an additional 22,000 square feet at the airport’s industrial complex, positioning the company to scale production and support global market demand.
“Vector Systems’ decision to expand in Bonham signals the strength of our industrial development strategy and the city’s readiness to support long-term business growth,” said William Myers, Executive Director of BEDCO. “This investment brings high-quality jobs, capital investment and increased industrial activity to Fannin County while reinforcing Bonham’s competitiveness as a manufacturing destination in North Texas.”
Vector Systems manufactures industrial process equipment used across key sectors including renewable energy, power generation, refinery operations, emerging technologies and the rapidly expanding data center market. Company leadership projects revenue growth from nearly $35 million today to approximately $100 million within three years, alongside workforce expansion from 129 employees to roughly 230.
Executives cited Bonham’s strategic connectivity — including access to Sam Rayburn Highway (State Highway 121) and U.S. Highway 82 — as a key factor in the relocation decision, along with workforce availability and regional training partnerships.
“Bonham offers the operational environment and logistics advantages we need to scale efficiently while maintaining strong customer access across Texas and beyond,” said Lorie Clark, Chief Financial Officer of Vector Systems. “The community’s workforce development initiatives, including collaboration with Grayson College’s welding program, provide confidence in our long-term growth strategy.”
Currently, Vector Systems operates within approximately 15,500 square feet of space, including 8,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing. Upon completion of planned expansions, the company’s Bonham footprint is expected to reach approximately 56,000 square feet across multiple sites near Jones Field Airport.
Located roughly 60 miles north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and within close proximity to Sherman’s emerging technology cluster, Bonham is increasingly positioning itself as a strategic industrial hub for manufacturers seeking access to regional markets, skilled labor and competitive operating costs.
