Creating 194 Jobs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Vsimple Inc., an artificial intelligence company focused on improving operational efficiency for mid- to large-sized businesses, officially opened its new corporate headquarters in Louisville following a $5.1 million investment that will create 194 new jobs in the region.
The project, announced earlier this year, marks the company’s relocation from Southern Indiana to Louisville and adds to Kentucky’s rapidly expanding technology and innovation sector. State and local officials joined company leadership this week to commemorate the ribbon-cutting at the new facility.
“Companies from across the globe are recognizing Kentucky as a premier destination for growth,” said Governor Andy Beshear. “Vsimple’s decision to locate its headquarters in Louisville brings nearly 200 quality jobs and further strengthens our position in the tech and AI economy.”
The new headquarters provides modern office space designed to support Vsimple’s growth as demand for its AI-powered operational intelligence platform continues to expand across North America. The investment allows the company to centralize operations, recruit top talent, and deepen its ties to Louisville’s business and innovation ecosystem.
“Relocating our headquarters to Louisville represents a new chapter for our company,” said Buddy Bockweg, founder and CEO of Vsimple. “We’re building a powerful operational intelligence platform for the mid-market, and we’re doing it in a city that values innovation, talent, and community. This headquarters is designed to support bold ideas and meaningful growth for both our team and our customers.”
Founded in 2020, Vsimple develops proprietary AI software that helps businesses across manufacturing, distribution, construction, and professional services streamline operations by connecting people, processes, systems, and data into a single intelligent platform.
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg emphasized the broader economic impact of the project. “Vsimple’s relocation underscores Louisville’s emergence as a hub for technology innovation and high-wage careers,” Greenberg said. “Projects like this strengthen our economy and help position our city for long-term success.”
Trevor Pawl, CEO of the Louisville Economic Development Alliance (LEDA), highlighted the region’s competitive advantages. “Vsimple’s growth in Louisville reflects the momentum we’re seeing across the region,” Pawl said. “Our talent pipeline, connectivity, and business climate continue to attract innovative companies creating high-quality jobs.”
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) preliminarily approved the project for incentives under the Kentucky Business Investment Program, which provides performance-based tax incentives tied to job creation and capital investment targets.
Vsimple’s expansion adds to Kentucky’s ongoing economic momentum and reinforces Louisville’s growing reputation as a destination for AI, technology, and high-wage innovation-driven employment.
