WESTMINSTER, S.C. — Baxter Manufacturing, a long-standing supplier to the plastics industry, announced a $15.7 million expansion of its Oconee County operations, reinforcing the company’s continued growth in South Carolina’s thriving advanced manufacturing sector. The project will create 36 new jobs and significantly increase the company’s production capacity for automotive customers.
Family-owned and backed by more than 40 years of industry expertise, Baxter Manufacturing is a full-service plastics supplier specializing in plastic injection-molded automotive components. The company first established its Oconee County presence in 2017 and has since become a key Tier 1 supplier for the region’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem.
The latest expansion includes an additional 35,000 square feet of production space and advanced manufacturing machinery at the company’s facility at 1000 Innovation Way in Westminster. The investment will enhance output, diversify manufacturing capabilities, and support growing demand from automotive OEMs and suppliers across the Southeast.
