MANDEVILLE, La. — Boudreaux’s Jewelers, a fourth-generation Louisiana family business, announced plans to invest $4 million to expand and modernize its Flagship location in St. Tammany Parish. The project will more than double the current footprint of the Mandeville facility and establish one of the state’s largest on-site jewelry manufacturing studios, strengthening the company’s long-standing legacy of craftsmanship and design.
The expansion will create two high-wage jobs with an average salary of $115,000, while retaining 19 existing positions. Louisiana Economic Development (LED) estimates the project will generate six additional indirect jobs, resulting in a total of eight new opportunities for the Southeast Region.
“Family-owned businesses like Boudreaux’s are part of the fabric of Louisiana’s economy,” said LED Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois. “Their continued investment in St. Tammany Parish is exactly what our High Impact Jobs program was designed to support.”
Expanded Manufacturing and Modernized Retail Experience
The renovation will more than double the size of the company’s facility at 4550 Highway 22 in Mandeville. Upgrades include a redesigned first-floor showroom, expanded production space, and a state-of-the-art second-floor manufacturing studio to support the company’s growing design and fabrication teams.
“This expansion affirms our long-term commitment to the Louisiana market and to investing in local manufacturing and design,” said Brandon Boudreaux, COO of Boudreaux’s Jewelers. “Louisiana has always been home for our family and business.”
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2026 and conclude by October 2026. Boudreaux’s will remain open throughout the renovation to ensure uninterrupted service. The company also operates stores in Metairie and Baton Rouge, reinforcing its strong footprint in Louisiana.
Community and Regional Support
“Boudreaux’s expansion marks an exciting new chapter for a local, family-owned business,” said Mandeville Mayor Clay Madden. “Their continued investment underscores their deep connection to our community.”
“Small businesses like Boudreaux’s are the heartbeat of St. Tammany’s economy,” said Russell Richardson, President and CEO of the St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation. “We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this project to Mandeville.”
“Boudreaux’s Jewelers is doubling down on its commitment to Mandeville with an expansion that will create and retain quality jobs,” added Michael Hecht, President and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc. “This kind of homegrown investment strengthens our regional economy and fuels ripple-effect growth.”
To secure the project, the State of Louisiana offered a competitive incentives package, including participation in the High Impact Jobs program and the Industrial Tax Exemption Program.
