Global bakery manufacturer doubles production capacity as part of long-term U.S. growth strategy
VINELAND, NJ (Jan. 30, 2026) — BRIDOR USA, part of the LE DUFF Group, announced a $200 million expansion of its Vineland, New Jersey baking facility, a project that will double production capacity and strengthen the company’s manufacturing footprint across the United States.
The expansion represents a major milestone in BRIDOR’s multi-billion-dollar U.S. investment strategy aimed at localizing production and meeting growing demand for premium European-inspired bakery products throughout North America.
Major Facility Upgrades and New Production Capabilities
The Vineland project, which broke ground in fall 2024, includes construction of a 51,000-square-foot facility expansion and installation of advanced automated baking technologies designed to improve efficiency, output, and product innovation.
Key components of the expansion include:
- A high-speed automated Viennese pastry production line, operational since summer 2025
- A new warehouse and industrial refrigeration system
- A research and development center
- Culinary academy and baking innovation center
- A new automated bread production line scheduled to begin operations in Q2 2026
The new pastry line is already producing premium Viennese pastries for foodservice and retail customers across the United States and international markets.
Strengthening East Coast Production and Supply Chains
Company leaders celebrated the milestone during a Jan. 28 event at the Vineland facility, joined by local officials including Vineland Mayor Anthony R. Fanucci.
Eric Juillet de Saint Lager, CEO of BRIDOR North America, said the expansion reflects the company’s customer-focused growth strategy:
“By strengthening our Vineland production capabilities, we can scale efficiently while preserving the craftsmanship, quality, and consistency that define BRIDOR. Vineland plays a critical role in our long-term growth in the U.S. market.”
The investment enhances BRIDOR’s ability to supply locally produced bakery goods while maintaining the artisanal standards associated with French baking traditions.
Accelerating North American Expansion
BRIDOR’s Vineland expansion is part of a broader strategy to expand manufacturing capacity across North America through localized production, regional sourcing, and flexible operations.
The company is simultaneously advancing additional U.S. investments, including:
- Construction of a new production facility in the Greater Salt Lake City region, expected online in 2026
- Development of a new industrial bakery in Lancaster, Texas
These sites will complement existing operations in:
- Quebec, Canada
- Bridgeport, Connecticut
- Vineland, New Jersey
Together, the facilities expand BRIDOR’s continental production network and support growing demand from hospitality, catering, and retail partners.
Supporting Local Economic Growth
Mayor Fanucci noted the project’s regional impact:
“BRIDOR’s continued investment brings advanced manufacturing capabilities to Vineland, supports local jobs, and reinforces our city’s role as a hub for high-quality food production.”
The expansion strengthens southern New Jersey’s position in food manufacturing while contributing to the broader reshoring trend in U.S. food production and supply chains.
Philippe Morin, CEO of BRIDOR Worldwide, emphasized North America’s strategic importance:
“Expanding our production footprint allows us to combine French baking expertise with local manufacturing excellence, delivering premium products at scale while staying close to our customers.”
