Launching $187 Million Statewide Expansion
LACOMBE, La. (October, 15 2025) — EquipmentShare, a leading national construction technology and equipment rental company, has opened a new Core Solutions facility in St. Tammany Parish, marking the start of a $187 million statewide expansion across Louisiana. The company’s growth plan includes five new locations and will create 120 new jobs, bringing EquipmentShare’s total Louisiana footprint to 13 branches.
State and local leaders joined company executives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new facility, which underscores Louisiana’s growing appeal to high-tech, high-growth companies.
“Under Governor Landry’s leadership, Louisiana’s economic momentum continues to build,” said Louisiana Economic Development Secretary Susan B. Bourgeois. “EquipmentShare’s expansion is another sign of confidence in our business climate and our ability to attract investment that drives job creation and community growth.”
EquipmentShare CEO and Co-founder Jabbok Schlacks said the company’s mission is to make construction “safer, more productive, and more secure — community by community.” He added, “Expanding across Louisiana allows us to partner with the builders driving the state’s growth in infrastructure, energy, and coastal resilience projects.”
The expansion includes Core, Advanced, and Tooling Solutions facilities, supporting a wide range of construction and industrial clients.
“EquipmentShare’s decision to expand in St. Tammany underscores the confidence innovative companies have in our workforce and business climate,” said Russell Richardson, President and CEO of the St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation. “This investment strengthens our region as a hub for high-quality jobs and advanced technology.”
With more than 348 locations nationwide and plans to reach over 700 in the coming years, EquipmentShare’s Louisiana growth is part of its broader national expansion strategy.
“EquipmentShare’s $187 million investment demonstrates strong confidence in Louisiana’s economy and workforce,” said Michael Hecht, President and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc. “This expansion will create good-paying jobs and position our state as a leader in construction technology and equipment innovation.”
