PARIS, Texas (Apr. 1, 2026) — Fusion Manufacturing has established a new agricultural equipment production facility in Lamar County, representing a $1.25 million capital investment and the creation of up to 40 new manufacturing jobs.
Located along Highway 82 West in Paris, the new operation strengthens Northeast Texas’ manufacturing base while supporting the region’s longstanding ties to the agricultural sector. Average wages for the new positions are expected to range between $55,000 and $60,000 annually, reinforcing the project’s impact on workforce quality and income growth in the region.
Owned by Benjamin and Edith Berg, Fusion Manufacturing produces steel livestock equipment designed for ranchers and agricultural operations nationwide. The company’s product portfolio includes cattle gates, livestock panels, windbreak panels and feeders—core infrastructure components for modern livestock management.
The Bergs bring significant industry experience to the project as stakeholders in Zenmac, an Alberta-based agricultural equipment manufacturer with an established presence in the livestock sector. This operational background positions the Lamar County facility to efficiently scale production and meet increasing demand across U.S. markets.
“Establishing Fusion Manufacturing in Lamar County represents an exciting step forward for our company,” said the Bergs. “We are proud to invest in this community and look forward to building lasting relationships while delivering high-quality products to customers across the country. Just as importantly, we are committed to creating jobs in a safe and supportive environment while contributing to the long-term success of the region.”
The project underscores Lamar County’s continued momentum in attracting manufacturing investment tied to core regional industries. Local leaders emphasized the strategic alignment between Fusion Manufacturing’s operations and the area’s economic strengths.
“Fusion Manufacturing’s investment brings quality jobs and long-term opportunity to Lamar County,” said Paris Economic Development Corporation Chair Josh Bray. “Manufacturing remains a cornerstone of our economy, and this facility—serving agricultural customers nationwide—reflects the competitive advantages our community offers.”
Paris Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Maureen Hammond added that the company’s rapid execution signals long-term commitment.
“The Bergs bring both entrepreneurial energy and deep industry expertise to Lamar County,” Hammond said. “Their ability to move quickly from concept to operation demonstrates a strong commitment to building a sustainable presence here, and we’re excited to support their continued growth.”
Fusion Manufacturing is currently finalizing facility preparations, with production expected to begin in the near term. Hiring is underway as the company builds its initial workforce to support operations.
