ALGODD, Tenn. — LEV Manufacturing will establish its first Tennessee operation in Putnam County, creating 288 new jobs and investing $7 million in a new manufacturing and distribution hub in the Upper Cumberland region.
The company, part of Life EV Group, will acquire a 100,000-square-foot facility at 2415 Burton Branch Road in Algood. The site will serve as LEV Manufacturing’s primary U.S. assembly, logistics and fulfillment center.
The Tennessee operation will support production, assembly and distribution for several electric mobility brands, including Rad Power Bikes, Serial 1 Cycle Company and Life EV branded e-bikes.
State leaders said the project highlights Tennessee’s continued momentum in attracting advanced manufacturing investment and expanding opportunities in emerging transportation technologies.
LEV Manufacturing said the Putnam County facility will strengthen its U.S.-based manufacturing strategy while positioning the company closer to customers nationwide. Company officials also noted plans to collaborate with Tennessee research institutions on battery technology, product innovation, advanced manufacturing processes and workforce development.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Deerfield Beach, LEV Manufacturing expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of Serial 1 Cycle Company, the electric bicycle brand originally developed by Harley-Davidson.
Beginning this year, the Tennessee facility will become a central distribution and assembly hub for the company’s growing portfolio, while also supporting expansion into the e-delivery segment.
The announcement adds to Tennessee’s growing presence in mobility manufacturing and reinforces the state’s position as a destination for advanced production, supply chain and logistics investment.
