These athletic socks are then shipped to athletic programs throughout the U.S.
To establish operations in Horry County, the company will locate in a 23,500 sq. ft. warehouse located at 3537 Franklin St. Loris, SC. Moose Logistics & Distribution plans to renovate and expand the current facility. Moose Logistics & Distribution will hire a broad range of employees, including operators, managers, clerical and more. This will be Moose Logistics & Distribution’s first location in South Carolina.
UET has the sock NFL and NCAA license for every sports team and supplies them to Costco, Amazon and Sam Club. In 6/2022 acquired the brand Strideline which can be seen in many retailers in the USA.
The warehouse will begin sock sublimation as well as “pick and ship” for other clients starting March 2023.
The company will advertise positions with SC Works.
Thomas Moose Jr., Founder of Moose Logistics & Distribution stated, “As owner of UET International, I am very pleased with the choice to open the Logistics and Operations services in Loris, SC. I intend to hire directly from the local community and technical colleges and create good paying long-term employment. UET International recently merged with the fastest growing sock brand in the USA called Strideline, The Most Comfortable Sock on Earth. We are currently growing with Costco, Sam’s Club and Target so there is no limit to our potential for upwards growth. So far the local establishments in Loris, Horry County, the MBREDC and SC Department of Commerce could not have been more supportive. I am ecstatic and optimistic of this business for UET International and the city of Loris.”
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster said, “Our state has become a place where companies, both new and old, want to do business. The logistics and distribution sector booms because of the infrastructure network in place to make business happen.
