Creates High-Skill Tech Jobs and Strengthens Louisiana’s Growing Digital Media Sector
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Plan A Games announced it is expanding its footprint in Louisiana with the launch of a new engineering team in southeast Louisiana dedicated to developing the company’s advanced data analytics platform. The investment brings high-skill technology jobs to New Orleans and further strengthens the region’s reputation as a hub for digital media, software development, and creative talent.
Located at The Shop in New Orleans’ vibrant Warehouse District, Plan A Games is building a next-generation data platform designed to analyze and measure the performance of mobile free-to-play games. This innovation will enhance the company’s core business—funding user acquisition for mobile game developers—while deepening the company’s partnerships and accelerating long-term growth.
“It’s a global game, and Louisiana is playing to win,” said Josh Fleig, Chief Innovation Officer at Louisiana Economic Development (LED). “Plan A Games is joining a growing network of digital media companies and creative professionals that are strengthening Louisiana’s economy. By establishing operations in the Southeast Region, the company adds new energy and expertise to our creative technology sector and reinforces the state as a place where tech companies can grow and thrive.”
Expanding Talent and Investment in the Southeast Region
Since launching this summer, Plan A Games has already hired two graduates from Tulane University’s School of Engineering to join its growing data platform team. The company anticipates adding four to six new high-skill jobs in the coming years as it builds out its Louisiana workforce.
Plan A Games has also secured investment from two Louisiana-based venture capital partners:
-
Boot64 Ventures, a Louisiana Opportunity Capital lender
-
Innovation Catalyst
These partners add to the company’s robust investor network and solidify its long-term commitment to Louisiana.
“Plan A Games is excited to join New Orleans’ expanding digital media and game development community,” said Gary Rosenfeld, CEO of Plan A Games. “By developing our data platform here and collaborating with partners like GNO, Inc., LED, and Tulane University, we’re proud to contribute to the momentum that’s positioning Louisiana as a leader in gaming and technology innovation.”
Elevating Louisiana’s Technology and Gaming Ecosystem
The company’s new analytics platform will offer mobile game developers deeper insights into player engagement, user acquisition, and game performance—key metrics for building competitive and sustainable free-to-play portfolios.
Plan A Games is also expected to participate in Louisiana’s Digital Interactive Media & Software Development incentive program, a performance-based statutory incentive offering up to 25% tax credits on eligible expenditures.
“Plan A Games’ decision to build its data platform in New Orleans is another sign of our region’s growing strength in digital media and software,” said Michael Hecht, President and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc. “By developing a cutting-edge platform, hiring local engineers, and partnering with Louisiana investors, Plan A Games is fueling the innovation that drives high-wage, high-tech jobs in our game development sector.”
