Cybersecurity Firm Invests in New 13,000-Square-Foot Facility with State and Local Support
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (July 15, 2026) — Cybersecurity company Securin is expanding its Albuquerque operations with support from the State of New Mexico and the City of Albuquerque, creating 93 new high-wage jobs as demand for its cybersecurity and AI-powered defense services continues to grow.
Founded in Albuquerque, Securin is relocating from its current 3,000-square-foot office to a newly renovated 13,000-square-foot headquarters in the city’s North Valley. The expansion reflects the company’s continued growth while reinforcing its long-term commitment to building New Mexico’s technology workforce.
The project is expected to create 93 new jobs with an average annual salary of approximately $71,000, further strengthening Albuquerque’s growing reputation as a cybersecurity and technology hub.
State and City Partner to Support Expansion
The expansion is supported through New Mexico’s Local Economic Development Act (LEDA) program.
Public investment includes:
- $250,000 in LEDA assistance from the New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD)
- $100,000 in LEDA funding from the City of Albuquerque
- Support for facility renovation and workforce expansion
- Investment aimed at strengthening New Mexico’s cybersecurity ecosystem
State officials said the project highlights New Mexico’s ability to help homegrown technology companies scale while remaining headquartered in the state.

Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, CEO of Securin, said the company’s roots trace back to his cybersecurity research at New Mexico Tech, where he developed his approach to offensive security testing.
